Week 21 - We got to eat. That was pretty fun!

Hello my peeps!

It's been another great week here in Tonga. We had zone conference this past week, and those are always super fun. At zone conference I was able to see a lot of the elders that I was in the MTC with. I was able to get a picture with them which was pretty fun. We also got to eat which was pretty fun, we don't eat often so that was a treat. HAHAHA!.

Other than that the week has been pretty chill. I saw a dead molokau on the road which was scary, I'll have a picture of a molokau down below. Oh yeah, a molokau is the Tongan word for Centipede.

That was a little update from me here in Tonga. I hope you all have a wonderful week and when you eat just think of me. HAHAHA.

Week 20 - The Streets Feel Empty

Hello,

This week was pretty good. I noticed that the streets feel a little empty now, maybe it's because school has started and all the kids are gone now. HAHA. Some highlights of the week are; we were supposed to have zone conference but it was cancelled, Elder Tongolei and I gave talks in sacrament meeting, and we gave out a Book of Mormon to our Peace Corps friend.

I have noticed some improvement in my language skills, because the first time I needed all the help I could get to prepare my talk and this time I needed a lot less. So, that was kind of satisfying. It feels a little easier to give talks in church while being a missionary, maybe it is because I am representing Jesus Christ it just comes easier. This week also had Valentines Day, I hope you all had a good holiday.

I hope you all have wonderful week and always remember to smile.

Week 19 - My foot is getting better.

Malo e lelei,

This week has been pretty normal. Nothing much has changed, except for a few things. My foot has gotten a lot better, Elder Tongolei is a genius at cutting coconuts, and our good friend Spencer has just returned from his two month long visit to New Zealand. I am happy that he is back, because he feeds us a lot. HAHAHA.

Hey, but this week we have zone conference which will be fun, I like zone conferences because I get to see all my buddies from the MTC, eat food, and learn some gospel stuff.

I hope you all have a good week this week, and I would also like to invite you all to find a Book of Mormon and start reading it, its pretty cool!

Ofa atu!

Week 18 - I Love Service

Malo e lelei!

This week was pretty good. Some things that we did differently this week was we did some yard work at the elementary school as a service project. This week I also ate dog. HAHAHA. It tasted pretty good, I'm not going to lie, but it was a little weird knowing that it's a dog but hey it wasn't that bad.

We also got our transfer calls yesterday, and Elder Tongolei and I are staying in Tu'anuku! That was pretty exciting.

Some other news, I have some weird infection on my ankle and I'm going to go to the doctor today and see if I can get it to go away. Other than that all is well here in Tonga.

If any of you all have any questions about Tonga or Missionary work let me know.

Till next week, Ofa atu!

-Elder Delgado

*Note from Mom. He went to the doctor and got an anitbiotic. Hopefully his ankle infection is gone.
